So I'm weird, but there's a very good excuse.

See, when I was putting away the groceries today I realise there was only a couple cans of Coke left. Usually I stick to sparkling water, but I decided that I'd have at least one before Andy finished them all.

So I start opening it, pull the tab... And it comes right off. Without opening the mouth of the can at all.

However it leaves a small hole in the center of the top. First I think, sure, I'll just drink out of that.

It's near impossible.

Then I decide, well, maybe I can pour it into a glass and drink from that. So I set it up, upside-down over a glass to pour. Only it drips very... very... very... slowly. So that's obviously not going to work either.

So I decide I'll try to make the hole bigger. I take a small knife and try to push down on the bit that should open, cos the can isn't all that hard or strong.

Except apparently at the top.

At this point it doesn't seem likely that I'm going to be able to drink it. I can throw it in the trash, only there is a hole at the top, and it will leak into the trash and make a mess of things.

So I guess I could put it upside-down in the sink to drip into the drain. Only my mother gets home in less than five minutes and would be upset about the waste.

Then I have a brain storm:

As my Dad justified it: It's a can, so I opened it with a can opener. Although I admit I sure made an interesting 'mess' of it.
